Bulk Processing

    All the processing in TNA is done automatically. However there may be occasions when you would like to force re-processing for a specific group of employees or for a single employee.

     

    CONTENTS

    Scheduling processing  

    To do Bulk Processing for a group of employees, proceed as follows:

    1. Select the Process option from the Bulk dropdown menu in the TNA User module. The Bulk Process Employees window will be displayed.

    1. Use the Select Employees or Select one Employee button to select the employee(s) for whom the processing is required.
    2. Set the From Date and To Date for the period to be processed.
    3. Select the type of process to be performed.
      1. Daily. To perform a Daily Hours processing for the selected employees and period.
      2. Payroll. To perform a Payroll Hours processing for the selected employees and period.
      3. Both. To perform a Payroll and Daily Hours processing for the selected employees and period.
    4. Click on the Schedule immediate processing button to start the process or the Cancel button to cancel the operation. As the scheduling is performed, a percentage completed window will be displayed. Once completed, the Bulk Process Employees window will close.

    The processor will now start re-processing the selected period. You will see a progress indicator in the background of the TNA User and Configuration module:

    Processing is complete once the progress indicator disappears.

    Increasing the speed of processing

    By default the daytime processing speed is set to Average to minimize the load on your computer resources. You can temporarily increase the speed of processing as follows:

    1. If you have access to the TNA Server Module, double click on the icon to open the TNA Server window.

    1. Highlight Processor and click on the Show button to open the Processor Diagnostics window.

    1. Select the Max option under the Current Activity tab to increase processing speed to its maximum. Hide the Processor Diagnostics windows and also the TNA Server window.

    The processing speed will reset to its default value when the TNA Server module is restarted.
