The Timesheet Option

    Selecting this option enables you to view your or your employee’s clockings, employee daily and payroll hours for a selected payroll period.

     

    CONTENT:

    Information Displayed

    The Employee Timesheet displays all the relevant information of one employee for a selected payroll period.

    Employee TimeSheet. Use the Previous Pay Period and Next Pay Period buttons to toggle forwards and backwards in payroll periods. The lookup button will allow you to select a specific payroll period end date.  If you have selected an invalid payroll period end date, CS Time Web will cover the closest alternative payroll period.

    Errors. View, fix or reprocess employee erorrs for the payroll period.

    Clockings. View and manage employee’s clockings for the selected payroll period.

    Daily Hours.  Add, change or delete manual hours or view employee’s hours for the payroll period.

    Payroll Hours. Add, change or delete manual hours or view employee’s hours for the payroll period.

    Warnings. View and excuse employee’s warnings for the payroll period.

    Changing Timesheet Information

    Fixing Errors

    If there are any errors for the employee in the selected pay period, you can fix or reprocess the errors in order for the daily and payroll hours to be calculated.

    Changing Clockings

    By selecting Insert you can add Clockings for a particular day, or change existing clockings by selecting the required Clocking and clicking the Change button. This option will also allow you to Delete a selected clocking.

    Changing Daily Hours

    Only Daily Hours that have been manually added can be selected and changed or deleted. Therefore if you wish to change system calculated hours you need to insert hours and then define them as having to be added to, to be subtracted from or to override the existing hours.

    Changing Payroll Hours

    Only Payroll Hours that have been manually added can be selected and changed or deleted. Therefore if you wish to change system calculated hours you need to insert hours and then define them as having to be added to, to be subtracted from or to override the existing hours.  When you insert hours, make sure that the date of the manual record is the payroll period end date.

    If there are no payroll hours for a completed payroll period, fix any errors that may be present and would have prevented the calculation of payroll hours before you add manual payroll hours.

    Changing Warnings

    Supervisors can excuse warnings for the employees that they supervise. To excuse a warning click on the Change button.
